I have a Nokona and they recommend vaseline, but I've heard Lexol leather conditioner is even better.
I haven't used either. I've had my Nokona for over a year and have never felt the need to treat it with anything. I have used glovolium with great success!
It's a good product. Baseball gLove. Originally posted by soceric View Post. Use the glove as much as possible.. If you use glovolium only put a little bit in the pocket. When your glove gets dry the best thing is plain vaseline. It doesn't soak into the glove and make it heavy like oil, and it cleans it well and makes it supple.

A colleague posted a chemical breakdown on anohter forum about a year ago. I will see if I can find it when I get a chance. Just be sure not too use too much, or too often. I apply Lexol brown bottle with a detailing sponge like you get at Pep Boys, Walmart, etc. It really does not migrate, and I use it sparingly with the sponge to clean my glove and my sons catcher mitts periodically throughout the season.
I don't like vasoline because it is sticky and will not go away. It attracts dirt to the glove like a magnet.
